Ready List for 9' Reese Tipis

1.   11 each Tipi Poles: 9 structure poles 10' to 12' long, plus 2 smoke flap poles 9' long
2.   1 each 9' Tipi Cover
3.   1 each Tipi Door
4.   9 each Pebbles for the pebble ties - Ideal size is 3/4" diameter - Anything reasonably round will work. (pebbles and ties remain attached to the cover after first use)
5.   9 each Pebble Tie Ropes - 1/8" cotton, polyester or nylon rope or heavy leather lacing - at least 40" in length (pebbles and ties remain attached to the cover after first use)
6.   1 each Anchor Rope - 15' of 1/4" diameter manila rope
7.   2 each Smoke Flap Ropes - 12' of 1/4" diameter - cotton or manila rope (these ropes remain attached to bottom corners of smoke flaps after first use)
8.   8 each Lacing Pins - 3/8" diameter x 9" long (it's a good idea to take a few spares)
9.   11 each Tipi Stakes (pegs) - two for each structure pole plus two for medicine pole anchors - Take 22 extra stakes to lash pole butts to, especially if winds are expected or if you expect to be away from the tipi for extended periods of time - Stakes should be at least 8" long and matched to the soil you are setting the tipi on - plastic and wood stakes work well on top soil or sod surfaces and metal stakes work well on rocky surfaces
10.  Hammer (or hammers) - 2lb flat faced - to hammer metal pegs (Use a claw hammer to pull pegs)
11.  Pilot Stake (peg) - steel or iron peg, sharpened on one end to make pilot holes for wooden or plastic pegs in rocky soil
12.  9 each Pole Streamers - red ones for traveling and color of choice for tipi setup
13.  1 each Horse Tail for lift pole
14.  S-Hook or Pole-Hook to hang lantern on
15.  Extra Rope - always handy to have
