ABOUT REESE TIPIS - Return Policy

RETURN POLICY
Repair/Replacement of Products During the Warranty Period. All returns must be approved by Reese Tipis in writing prior to return by Customer and comply with Reese Tipis' Warranty conditions. All claims for warranty repairs or replacement must be made in accordance with the specific Reese Tipis policy for warranty claims which is in effect at the time the warranty claim is made. In all cases, every product return will require prior authorization from Reese Tipis which will be in the form of a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) that can be obtained by contacting our Support Department. Upon Customer's receipt of the RMA number, the product must be returned to: Reese Tipis, oldstreetaddress, Colorado Springs, Colorado, 80915, or to any other address provided by Reese Tipis at the time the RMA number is issued. The RMA number must be referenced on the address label and printed prominently on every side of the package or the package may be refused. Also, proof of purchase and the RMA number MUST be included in the package containing the products to be returned. Once issued, an RMA number is valid for the next 30 days only including the date of issuance unless specifically extended by Reese Tipis in its sole discretion. Any return packages which do not arrive at Reese Tipis' facility within the 30 day period of time the RMA number is effective, will not be accepted by Reese Tipis. All return shipping costs, customs or duty fees, and insurance costs will be the Customer's responsibility. Reese Tipis recommends returning the package via a common carrier with tracking capabilities (such as UPS or Federal Express), insuring the product to be returned as the risk of loss remains on the Customer until the package is accepted by Reese Tipis at Reese Tipis facility, and complying with all of the Customer's particular country's customs, export and import laws prior to returning the product. Reese Tipis is not responsible for loss or damage during transit of the return product, nor for product losses or costs imposed on Customer due to the export or import laws of any foreign countries. Upon receipt of an approved warranty return, Reese Tipis will endeavor to ship a replacement product within 15 days, depending upon inventory levels and other factors. If the exact product returned is no longer available through Reese Tipis, Reese Tipis will forward the most similar product then available. The cost of shipping a replacement product will be borne by Reese Tipis. Products returned to Reese Tipis for warranty replacement become the sole property of Reese Tipis.

Refunds.
Reese Tipis will issue refunds under certain circumstances and only in accordance with the following procedures. Refund requests will only be considered within 30 days from the date of purchase including the actual date of purchase and will be issued only for products purchased directly from Reese Tipis. If you purchased the product from a reseller of our products, please contact that entity for applicable refund information. Any refunds granted will be in the amount of the original purchase price plus applicable sales taxes less a restocking fee equal to 25% of the purchase price. Unfortunately, Reese Tipis' original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

All products returned to Reese Tipis for a refund must be unused, arrive in new condition, be returned in the original packaging, and be accompanied by all accessories, ropes, manuals, etc., which were originally shipped with the tipi. Products returned to Reese Tipis that do not meet these requirements but that are nevertheless accepted by Reese Tipis in Reese Tipis' sole discretion may be subject to additional fees over and above the 25% restocking fee. Products returned to Reese Tipis that are mildewed, dirty, or stained will not be accepted by Reese Tipis and will be returned to the Customer at the Customer's expense (as explained below) with no refund or credit issued.

Upon receipt of your tipi in condition that is acceptable to Reese Tipis, Reese Tipis will endeavor to refund all amounts due within 30 days. ALL requests for refunds will require a prior payment to Reese Tipis via credit card or other suitable form, in the amount of the original shipping and handling charge or $70.00, whichever is greater to cover shipping and handling charges of returning the product to the customer in case the product is deemed not acceptable for a refund. If the product is accepted for a refund, this charge will be returned to the customer in its entirety as part of the refund.
